Random thing #1: We have winners for the giveaway! Congrats to Kari Rood and Lynn Young! I'll be giving your email information to the girls soon and you can be expecting goodies in your inbox!
Random thing #2: The Bucket List -
Let's see....
1)I haven't even started the newsletters, but I will definitely do those before August as I'm looking forward to using them with my class in conjunction with the editable calendars.
2)The Common Core Assessments are underway! Woo hoo! Kindergarten Counting and Cardinality should be up soon, with the other math and literacy strands to follow!
3)Tried to go to the beach - got rained out and went to see Monsters University instead! We saw Despicable Me 2 recently also. (we're little kids in adult bodies).
4)I'm almost done with the legs of my stool, I'll be getting some help on the top!
5)I'm behind on the book study, but I will post this week!
6)And I THINK I've managed to post twice a week so far this summer.
Random Thing #3 - We're going to be celebrating Christmas in July with the Summer Pre-K students, so I've started a new pack that will be up soon! It will have some center games, coloring activities, crafts, writing and more! I'm super excited to celebrate Christmas in July, since this is my first summer working I've never gotten the chance. I'm also planning on using this pack with my Kinderpups in December since this is more what Christmas looks like here in Florida.... none of that fluffy white stuff!
Random Thing #4 - I found this cart for $28 at Big Lots! It's exactly like the one I keep all my daily 5 word work options in, but different colors. Of course, I had to make more labels with matching colors. Now my students will have EVEN MORE word work options. They are going to love it! You can find the original labels (red, purple, orange, green, and blue) as a freebie in my store, and the newer labels (pink, violet, lime, aqua) will be posted as a new Fan Freebie on my Facebook page later this week!
Freebie on TPT:
Coming soon to my facebook fan freebie page (make sure to like my page!)
I am so excited to have won all of these fabulous prizes! Thanks Rachelle!!
ReplyDeleteI am loving your Christmas with a tan pack. It gets chilly (40's - 50's) here in Hernando County, but not winter. The kids and I will love this!
ReplyDeleteThanks as always!!
I love the way you organize your Word Work activities. Thanks for the freebies!
