From the mouth of babes.

You overhear a lot of crazy stuff as a teacher. Every now and then you hear something that stops you in your tracks and makes you beam like you're made of sunshine.

Like this group of 5 year olds. Observing their growing bean sprouts and casually discussing photosynthesis amongst themselves. I almost couldn't believe it. Carbon Dioxide, they said. Water, they said. Light and Chlorophyll, they said. Glucose and oxygen, they said. Hallelujah! They Listened! I said.

So. Proud.

  1. Hi Rachelle,

I love your greenhouses and what a perfect window for them. I think sometimes we underestimate children's abilities to take it all in - little sponges. I'm sure you're still beaming.
